Winter weather advisory in effect
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until noon Saturday for much of Western Pennsylvania, including Washington County. A wintry mix of precipitation will spread across the region today. Rain will mix with sleet and snow this morning and heavier snow and sleet are expected from mid-afternoon through evening. Ice could also enter the mix late this afternoon and evening. A total of 2 to 5 inches of snow and sleet is expected.
