WAYNESBURG – The Greene County Department of Recreation will be hosting a golf clinic by offering classes in three divisions.
Each of the five-week classes cost $100 and class size is limited. Classes will begin at Matis Family Fun Center and will conclude at Carmichael’s Golf Club.
Classes will be held every Monday from March 18 through April 15. The beginner’s division is designed for youth ages 8 to 12 starting at 4 p.m. Intermediate division is for young adults ages 13 to 18, and will begin at 5 p.m. The women’s division will be held at 6 p.m.
The clinic is sponsored by the Greene County commissioners and Carmichael’s Golf Club. Instructor Brian Sokol, tournament director for the golf club, will lead the classes.
