Man jailed: Mark W.J. Shriver, 19, of Irondale, Ohio, is charged by McDonald police with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct over allegations he went to the 15 Tope St. residence of Catherine Baker without permission about 2:45 p.m. Monday, court records show. Shriver is in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Kindle stolen: Dianne Perkins, of 213 Valley View Terrace, told Canonsburg police Friday that a Kindle Fire that was delivered Wednesday was stolen from in front of her home.

Club cited: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited the operators of the Veterans Club of Charleroi, 605-609 McKean Ave., for failing to have the board-approved manager get the necessary training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment.

Fugitive nabbed: Vontey L. Johnson, 29, of 717 McKean Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with arrest prior to requisition following a chase about 5:30 p.m. Monday from 700 Fallowfield Ave. to the 700 block of Washington Avenue, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson remanded Johnson to the Washington County jail without bond where he awaits extradition to face charges in Oklahoma.

Three injured: Three women were injured when their vehicle was reportedly run off the road by an oncoming vehicle Friday afternoon on Route 519 near Ullom Road, Chartiers police said. Evelyn Vichek, 80, of Avella, told police that she was driving south when a northbound vehicle, described as a small, white car, crossed into her lane. Vichek’s vehicle went off the road, traveled 50 feet and hit a tree. Vichek and a passenger, Dolores Caporosso, 82, of Burgettstown, were taken to Canonsburg General Hospital for treatment. Another passenger, Lila Porchiran, 82, of Slovan, was taken to UPMC-Mercy hospital.

Vehicle damaged: Randy Lee Bell Jr. of Chartiers will be charged with criminal mischief for allegedly ramming his sister’s vehicle early Sunday at 719 N. Main St., Chartiers police said.

Child assaulted: Michael J. Niklaus, 40, of 247 Modiseete Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with aggravated indecent assault on a child under age 13, indecent assault, corruption of a minor and endangering the welfare of children, court records show. Police accuse him of having inappropriate contact with the child and making threats to keep her from telling anyone between June and October. He is in the Washington County jail on $100,000 bond set Friday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Woman assaulted: David H. Trowbridge, 62, of 103 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, is charged by borough police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, accused of striking his girlfriend, Dianne Sapple, in the head and threatening her with a knife about 11:15 p.m. Saturday at this residence, court records show. He is in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Woman arrested: Michelle Denillo, 45, of 126 Chartiers St., North Strabane, was arrested Monday night by township police after she allegedly bit her boyfriend, Kevin Serback, 39, also of 126 Chartiers, in the arm. He told police he tried to stop her from driving because she was intoxicated. Denillo was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson on charges of simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness. She was placed in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

One injured: Barbara Landis, 46, of 413 Union St., Brownsville, was slightly injured Saturday morning when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by James Ritenour, 23, of McKees Rocks, on Route 19 at Trinity Point. South Strabane police said the icy road may have been a factor.

Slightly injured: Adam Desimone, 18, of 127 Woodside Drive, South Strabane, was slightly injured Friday night when his vehicle fish-tailed on a slick East Beau Street, went off the road and hit a tree, South Strabane police said.

Access device fraud: A resident of the 200 block of Old Oak Road, contacted police at 6:58 p.m. Monday to report access device fraud, township police said. The woman received a telephone call from Midland Credit Management informing her of a credit card account that was past due, police said. The woman never opened the account or made any charges. There was an alternate address on the account in the state of California, police said.

Drug arrest: Jerry L. Ray Jr., 47, address unknown, is charged by state police with possession of crack with intent to deliver and drug possession over allegations he sold $300 worth of the drug to a confidential informant about 3 p.m. May 6, 2011, at Locust and Hallam avenues, court records show. He is in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant and arraigned Saturday before District Judge Mark Wilson.

Paraphernalia charge: Dennis Phillips, 53, of 920 Weirich Ave., Washington, was charged Tuesday with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was charged in connection with a Dec. 7 incident on Ewing Street. A summons will be mailed by District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Assault charge: Cody P. Helmick, 23, of 1240 Bruce St., Canton Township, was charged Tuesdaywith simple assault by Washington police. Police said he was charged for assaulting a woman at his home on Saturday. A summons will be mailed by District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Wallet stolen: Amber Byrd of 648 Amity Ridge Road, Amity, reported to police Monday that a quilted wallet, a Discover credit card, retailer cards, her driver’s license and gift cards were stolen while she was at work at Millcraft Center.

Money stolen: Charles Work of 173 Church St., Apt. 9, Washington, reported that $200 in cash was stolen from his wallet while at his home Monday.

Drug charges: David L. Waychoff, 34, of 2690 Old National Pike, Washington, was charged Tuesday with possession of Opana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with a traffic stop on East Maiden Street on Nov. 27. A summons will be mailed by District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Woman charged: Jill Ellis, 47, of 2136 Pike St., Apt. 2, Houston, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence in connection with a Feb. 2 incident on West Chestnut Street in Washington. Ellis had previously been involved in a hit-and-run accident in North Franklin Township when city police spotted her on West Chestnut Street. Police said Ellis attempted to drive away when they conducted a stop. She attempted to put her vehicle into park and it drifted forward and struck the patrol car in front of her. Her blood-alcohol content of 0.216, above the .08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed, police said. A summons will be mailed by District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Criminal charge: Jeffrey M. Boehm, 23, of 475 Addison St., Washington, was charged Tuesday with criminal trespass, possession of instruments of crime and disorderly conduct. Police said he was stopped while walking east on Ross Alley with a backpack on Jan. 15. The backpack contained bolt cutters and Boehm admitted to attempting to break into a house on Ross Alley to steal copper. A summons will be mailed by District Judge Robert Redlinger.
