Commissioners expected to approve property sales
WAYNESBURG – At their meeting today, Greene County commissioners are expected to approve the sale of 10 properties that have cleared judicial sale and remain unsold.
Most of the properties are in Perry Township, and the bids for those properties are $200 each. Three of the other properties are in Franklin and Dunkard townships and Jefferson Borough. They, too, were taken to judicial sale and remain unsold.
The commissioners also are expected to approve a change order from Allegheny Restoration to use 4-inch spray foam insulation rather than fiberglass for the courthouse roof project.
Several appointments will be made at today’s meeting. A commissioner will be appointed to the local emergency planning committee, to the Human Service Advisory Board and to the Children and Youth Advisory Board.
Additionally, appointments will be made to the Farmland Preservation board of directors and to the Conservation board of directors.
