Four, including infant, hurt in crash
A 7-month-old boy, his parents and a Washington woman were injured late Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Hewitt Avenue at Malone Ridge Road, Canton Township.
State police said a vehicle driven by Brian Hanna, 23, of Hickory, was going south on Hewitt when he failed to stay in his lane. His vehicle hit a northbound vehicle driven by Jamie Harvey, 34, of Washington, as she tried to turn left onto Malone Ridge.
Hanna, his 23-year-old wife, Samantha, and their infant son, Hayden Hanna, were injured, as was Harvey. Brian and Samantha Hanna were flown to UPMC, Presbyterian hospital. Harvey, who had to be freed from her wrecked vehicle by Canton firefighters, also was taken to Presbyterian. She and Samantha Hanna were released. Brian Hanna was listed in good condition Friday.
Hayden Hanna was taken to UPMC, Children’s hospital. He has been released.
Brian Hanna will be cited with failure to stay in his lane of travel, police said.
