Scholarship winners announced
WAYNESBURG – The administrators of the R. Wallace and Margaret Maxwell Scholarship Fund, J. William Hook, Doris Neubauer and Heidi Blair, have announced the recipients of this year’s awards.
The fund provides $14,000 in scholarships to assist any Greene County resident planning to pursue a post-high school education.
This year’s recipients are Randon Spence of Sycamore, attending Clarion University; Stephanie Spence of Sycamore, attending Clarion University; Mary Kate Rush-Stephenson of Waynesburg, attending California University of Pennsylvania; Rhetta King of Waynesburg, attending Geneva College; Travis W. Gump of New Freeport, attending Robert Morris University; Jordan R. Brooks of Waynesburg, attending California University of Pennsylvania; Jeremy Baker of Jefferson, attending Waynesburg University; Delaney Zaborowski of Rices Landing, attending Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.; and Garrett Henry of Waynesburg, attending West Virginia University.
Also, Bethany Orndoff of Waynesburg, attending Waynesburg University; Brittany Orndoff of Waynesburg, attending Waynesburg University; Jessie Milliken of Mather, attending Gannon University; Emily Snee of Waynesburg attending Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.; Rachael Hathaway of Jefferson, attending Waynesburg University; and Rachel Nicole Blackwell of Mt. Morris, attending Pierpont Community and Technical College of West Virginia.
