During a checkpoint to detect those driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs held from 11 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday, 105 drivers were detained in the 600 block of East McMurray Road in Peters Township by members of the Washington County DUI Task Force.

Of those stopped, seven were tested for alcohol or drugs, and of those, three were arrested for DUI, two at the actual checkpoint and a third about two blocks away. Another driver was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
