1 min read

CRANBERRY (AP) – Police have been searching for a group of four or five men – one armed with a shotgun – who burst into a Western Pennsylvania jewelry store and robbed it after smashing display cases.

Police in Cranberry, about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, say the men entered the Moses Jewelers store about 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.

After smashing the display cases, the men dropped watches and rings into bags and fled quickly. Police say the men were in the store no more than three minutes.

Employees told police the men drove away in a white, four-door vehicle after ordering employees to lie on the floor. No shots were fired and nobody was hurt in the robbery.
