Man charged with indecent assault
WAYNESBURG – A 71-year old Waynesburg man has been charged by state police with inappropriately touching two girls who were under the age of 13 on at least 10 occasions during a 16-year period ending in December 2011.
Frank D. Robinson, of 861 Ridge Road, was charged with 10 counts of indecent assault and one count of corruption of a minors. All are misdemeanors.
Police said in a criminal complaint that a 16-year-old female came to the station last month to report that Robinson had engaged in inappropriate behavior with her at various times since she was 5 to 7 years old, touching her inappropriately, talking about sexual matters and twice offering to buy her sex toys.
Police said they also interviewed a second woman, who is 28 years old. She, too, alleged Robinson, at various times, had inappropriately touched her when she was between 10 and 12 years old.
The charges were filed Tuesday with District Judge Glenn Bates. Robinson will be issued a summons.
