Repeat DUI offender sentenced to 6 months
WAYNESBURG – An Elizabethtown woman, who pleaded guilty May 13 to driving under the influence, was sentenced Monday by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.
Keisha Maria Intorre, 28, of 4665 Ridge Road, was sentenced to 30 days to 6 months in jail with credit to be served concurrently to a previous sentence she received in 2010 in Elizabethtown.
Intorre was arrested June 30, 2012, in Cumberland Township after state police observed her crossing the double yellow line and nearly striking a police cruiser. When the officer turned to follow Intorre, she crossed over it again and also over the fog line, according to the criminal complaint.
She was stopped along Route 88 near Hart’s Road. Intorre’s blood-alcohol content was 0.112 percent. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and four summary traffic violations. Police also said Intorre was driving on a suspended license.
In addition to jail time, Intorre was ordered to pay a $1,810 fine plus court costs and fees.
