Court cases
Numerous people recently appeared before Washington County Judge John DiSalle on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. Appearing were:
Clyde W. Shaver, 41, of 80 Church St., Washington; DUI, careless driving,; charged Nov. 25 with a blood-alcohol level of 0.162 percent; sentence – 30 days to 6 months in jail, $1,050 fine.
Cynthia Williams, 53, of 656 Fayette St., Washington; DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged Sept. 3 with a BAC of 0.15 percent; sentence – 10 days to 6 months on home monitoring with work release, $700 fine.
Crystal F. Kohl, 49, of 208 Morton St., New Eagle; second offense of DUI, disorderly conduct; charged Jan. 20, 2012; sentence – 6 to 18 months on home monitoring, $1,550 fine.
Jennifer L. Salamone, 26, of 344 Oakville Drive, Pittsburgh; second offense of DUI; charged Oct. 28; sentence – 6 to 18 months on home monitoring with work release, $1,500 fine.
Cynthia E. Sillaman, 64, of 15 Wren Way, Washington; DUI; charged Dec. 9; – 10 days to 6 months on home monitoring, $1,000 fine.
Wayne E. Debor, 56, of 506 Serpentine Drive, Pittsburgh; DUI; charged Nov. 9; sentence – 2 to 6 months on home monitoring, $750 fine.
Lynn D. Hillberry, 63, of 111 Frederick Terrace, Fredericktown; two second offenses of DUI, two counts of no inspection; charged Oct. 7 and Jan. 26; sentence – 60 days to 6 months on home monitoring, 12-month license suspension, $1,275 fine.
Anthony J. Schepis, 31, of 201 Fayette Ave., Oakdale; second offense of DUI; charged Feb. 10; sentence – 6 to 18 months on home monitoring with work release, 18-month license suspension, $1,500 fine.
Ernest G. Harris, 47, of 213 Boggston Ave., Pittsburgh; DUI; charged March 24; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,200 fine.
Adam R. Hankins, 23, of 348 Houston St., Washington; DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged Feb. 10; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail, 12-month license suspension, $700 fine.
Edward J. Tolliver, 59, of 209 McKee Ave., Monessen; DUI; charged March 3; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, 12-month license suspension, $1,000 fine.
Jack L. Gearhart Jr., 45, of 317 Meadow Road, Burgettstown; second offense of DUI; charged Dec. 16; sentence – 6 to 18 months on home monitoring with work release, 12-month license suspension, $1,500 fine.
Edward L. Medlen, 60, of 418 Newman Road Claysville; second offense of DUI; charged July 4, 2012; sentence – 10 days to 6 months home monitoring, $300 fine, 12-month license suspension.
Luke C. Hutto, 29, of 186 Cedar Ledge Lane, Canton; second offense of DUI, accident involving damage to attended vehicle, commercial drivers-alcohol prohibited, failure to stop and give information/render aid; charged April 8, 2012; sentence – 6 to 12 months in jail, $4,000 fine, 18-month license suspension.
Numerous people were admitted to the Accelerated Disposition Program for 12 months for first offenses of DUI. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their record expunged. Admitted were:
