Vacant Charleroi council seat filled

1 min read

A Charleroi businesswoman has been appointed to fill a vacant seat on borough council.

Charleroi council Thursday voted unanimously to appoint Debra Kruel Buck, owner of Audrey’s Custom Draperies, to fill the chair through December 2015, borough Manager Donn Henderson said.

He said the seat became vacant after Harry Reis resigned from council for health reason. Kruel Buck said she will remove her name from the Republican ballot in the November election for a seat on council.
