1 min read

State police at the Washington barracks will conduct a sobriety checkpoint and have additional roving patrols targeting intoxicated drivers through the weekend.

Police said the additional enforcement is in light of concerts planned in the area. The effort will be done to reduce crashes and promote safety. First Niagara Pavilion features Lynyrd Skynyrd tonight and Zac Brown Band on Saturday. Jamboree in the Hills in Belmont County, Ohio, which attracts thousands to the area, continues through the weekend.
