Howard “Buster” Dulaney and his wife, Carol, enjoy some quiet time at the Jacktown Fair. Buster, 81, is considered the fair’s the oldest exhibitor and proved his mettle by taking first place this year with a fine head of cabbage. Dulaney brought some of the family’s bumper crop of cucumbers to give away to friends and those who might pass by the family gathering spot in front of the horse barn.
