3rd-degree murder in Western Pa. wife’s death
PITTSBURGH (AP) – A Western Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife last fall.
Benjamin Conway, 32, entered the plea Monday in Allegheny County Court. He will be sentenced July 29.
Officers were called to a home in the Pittsburgh suburb of Baldwin on Nov. 3 and found 33-year-old Kimberly Jo Conway dead of a gunshot wound.
Police said Benjamin Conway was disarmed by another relative who was present and who called police.
The suspect was then taken to a hospital for treatment of wounds that officers said he inflicted upon himself with a piece of glass.
