Two alleged burglars facing additional charges

1 min read

Two West Virginia residents, already facing charges for allegedly burglarizing two homes in West Finley Township in November 2011, had more charges filed against them Monday by state police.

Benjamin E. Senkbeil, 29, and Nicole Dawn Porter, 26, both of Wheeling, are now charged with receiving stolen property, false identification and possessing instruments of a crime stemming from a Nov. 8, 2011, traffic stop on Interstate 70, South Strabane Township.

When police stopped the car, both allegedly gave the trooper incorrect names. When police later searched the vehicle, they said they learned their correct identities.

Police said they also found items inside the car that had been reported stolen in the two burglaries.
