PennFuture seeks new president

1 min read

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The environmental group PennFuture says a search is under way for a new president.

PennFuture says in a Monday release that former president George Jugovic, Jr. has stepped down, and will now chair the organization’s law staff. Jim Abernathy will serve as interim president of the statewide environmental organization.

The group says they’re conducting a nationwide search for a new president and hope to have that person in place by the fall.

PennFuture was founded in 1998. It has staff in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Wilkes-Barre.
