J-M graduate awarded several scholarships
Delaney Zaborowski, daughter of Susan Haxton and Frank Zaborowski, was the recipient of the $1,500 Dove Scholarship at the Jefferson-Morgan awards banquet.
This scholarship was established through the Community Foundation of Greene County anonymously by a Jefferson-Morgan alumnus. She also was the recipient of a $2,000 Washburn University Scholarship and the $1,000 Waynesburg Rotary Club Service Above Self Scholarship.
At Jefferson-Morgan, Zaborowski was active member of the National Honor Society, Leo club, Interact club, student council and drama club. She was a member of the Jefferson-Morgan volleyball team and participated in the Upward Bound Program through California University of Pennsylvania.
She will attend Washburn University in Topeka, Kanas, where she will major in psychology.
