Rider injured in ATV crash
A person riding an all-terrain vehicle at the Mel Blount Youth Home in Buffalo Township was seriously injured this morning when he crashed in a wooded area.
The male crashed shortly after 9 a.m. and was pinned beneath the quad in a densely wooded area, a Washington County emergency dispatcher said.
The person was taken by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh area hospital.
The severity of his injuries was not immediately available.
