Fundraising dinner planned June 30

2 min read

A spaghetti dinner to benefit 2-month-old Wyatt William Wansor will be held from noon to 5 p.m. June 30 at the social hall of Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department.

Wyatt, born with a condition known as a lymphatic malformation, will have to undergo many procedures to correct the condition and the medical costs will continue to mount.

Wyatt’s mother, 23-year-old Erin Everett, said, “He is on his dad’s (Jake Wansor) insurance plan but it has a high deductible. The out-of-pocket costs are going to be unreal but the social workers in the hospital are helping me,” Everett said. “Everyone’s been so helpful with the spaghetti dinner and the drive. I think I’ll have peace of mind financially enough to take care of him and not have to worry about money.”

That is why a group of family and friends have got together to help raise funds to support Wyatt and his family as he heals. In addition to the spaghetti fundraiser, donations are mounting online through the ‘Donations for Wyatt’ account at http://www.gofundme.com/2zgi7wat.

The cost of the spaghetti dinner is $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. All proceeds will benefit Wyatt.
