Canonsburg toddler dies after being found in pool
A 2-year-old died Monday in Canonsburg after relatives found him unresponsive in an above-ground swimming pool, according to a report from Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco.
Blake M. Metzger, of Richland Avenue, was taken to Canonsburg General Hospital at about 5:50 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later. The cause of death is pending autopsy, the report said.
Canonsburg police officials declined to comment Monday night, saying the matter is under investigation.
