The Lions will also be providing activities for the children of the community as well. Starting at 11 a.m., free horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting and a “Bouncy House” will be available for free for all children. The activities will continue until 1 p.m.; the Bouncy House will be open all day.
At 5 p.m. the opening ceremonies for the evening session will begin with a short address and a flag ceremony, followed by the Little Miss Firecracker Pageant on the grandstand stage at 6 p.m.

As the sun goes down, the real party will begin with the Kim Alexander Band performing at 7 p.m. on the main stage in front of the grandstand. The band is from Pittsburgh and is known as a “wedding party’ band. They have made appearances at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, the Washington Doubletree Hotel lounge and other clubs and venues throughout the tri-state area.
The band will be playing a little bit of everything, from pop, popular rock, to country and oldies.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
All activities and shows are open to the public at no charge, with the exception of food and drink.
