Eleven enter Little Miss Firecracker Pageant
The Little Miss Firecracker Pageant, sponsored by the Waynesburg Lions Club and Waynesburg Sewing Center, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday during the club’s annual Fourth of July celebration at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The pageant will take place on the main stage.
It is a noncompetitive pageant for girls from the ages of five to eight. The participants will appear in patriotic attire and each will be interviewed on stage.
The contestants for 2013 are:
• Jessie Lynn Cooke, daughter of Katie and Karl Cooke of Holbrook
• Sydney Fox, daughter of Lori and Burl Fox of Waynesburg
• Erin Elizabeth Harbarger, daughter of Lane and Sioux Harbarger of Carmichaels
• Chloe Marie Lawson, daughter of Charles and Samantha Lawson of Waynesburg
• Emma Mae Lawson, daughter of Charles and Samantha Lawson of Waynesburg
• Madison Rae Loughner, daughter of Bryan and Cathy Loughner of Spraggs
• Lily Claire Mautè, daughter of Roger and Kellie-Ann Mautè of Prosperity
• Sophina Marie Mautè, daughter of Roger and Kellie-Ann Mautè of Prosperity
• Reese Madeline Ramey, daughter of Cody and Debbie Ramey of Waynesburg
• Annalise Dixie Marie Willis, daughter of Kevin and Sandy Willis of Mather
• Emma Alexis Zalar, daughter of Stephen and Jessica Zalar of Dilliner
Little Miss Firecracker is determined by each contestant drawing a wrapped flower from a basket. The off-colored flower decides who the new queen will be for 2013. The winner will receive a crown, sash, trophy and savings bond. Each of the contestants will receive a participation award.
The reigning Little Miss Firecracker, Lucille Jean Pulkownik, daughter of Michelle and Bill Pulkownik of Waynesburg will crown the new queen.
