Charleroi house fire quickly doused

CHARLEROI – Firefighters in Charleroi quickly brought under control a house fire Friday.

The fire at 1004 Upper Crest Ave. was doused within 10 minutes after the Charleroi Fire Department arrived on scene about 5:30 p.m., a Washington County 911 supervisor said.

It was not immediately known if the 2-story house was occupied, he said.
