South Strabane woman arrested in shooting
A South Strabane Township woman was arrested by township police late Tuesday for allegedly shooting her husband several times during a domestic dispute at their home.
Latasha Stapp, 26, of 3008 Clubhouse Circle, is charged with attempted homicide, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm in an occupied structure for allegedly shooting her husband, Tyler Stapp, in the presence of their two children, according to court documents.
She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County Jail on $250,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for March 25 before Weller.
