Court sets date for Buffalo nominating petition challenge

1 min read

Washington County Judge Katherine Emery has scheduled a hearing for 2:30 p.m. Thursday in a nominating petition challenge filed against David Wayne Locy, who is seeking a Republican nomination as a Buffalo Township supervisor.

Although Locy’s petition has 15 signatures, Robert C. Moore of Gorby Road alleges the majority of those who signed are registered Democrats, so the document lacks the required 10 valid signatures of registered Republicans who live in the township.
