Pittsburgh man charged in theft
State police filed charges against Alexander H. Maxwell IV, 30, of Pittsburgh, who allegedly stole a number of items from Don’s Appliances, 55 Hickory St., Canton Township, Friday.
Police said Maxwell stole a portable air conditioner, a dehumidifier and a cookware set and loaded them into his vehicle near the business’ loading dock. He fled when he was confronted by the owner, police said.
