Councilman bumped from ballot

Washington Councilman Joseph Manning’s name will not appear on the May 21 primary ballot.

Washington County Judge Gary Gilman ruled today that 11 of the 110 signatures that Manning had collected on his petition had “fatal defects,” meaning that those signatures had to be stricken from the petition, leaving Manning one short of the minimum number.
