DUI charge: James P. Beck, 42, of 130 Lincoln St., Cokeburg, was charged Monday by Southwest Regional police with driving under the influence of alcohol stemming from an April 9 crash on Main Street in Bentleyville. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Fleeing charge: Jason C. Vrabel, 42, of 258 Almond Road, Bentleyville, was charged Monday by Southwest Regional police with fleeing or eluding police and reckless driving stemming from an April 25 incident on Main Street in Bentleyville. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Vehicle entered: Lori Laura of Belle Vernon told Southwest Regional police Thursday his vehicle was broken into while parked at King’s Restaurant, Wilson Road, Bentleyville. There was no indication what was stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Charges pending: Cassandra Cropp, 23, of Washington, will be charged by state police with DUI stemming from a wrong-way crash on Interstate 70 west of the Claysville exit, Buffalo. Police received a call Sunday of a wrong-way driver going east in the westbound lanes. They then received a report of a crash. Cropp was not injured, police said. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Trespass charge: Rodney Kelley, 20, of Carnegie, was charged Saturday with criminal trespass after he was found inside 213 Valley View Terrace, Canonsburg police said. He had been banned from the housing project. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Ring stolen: Josh Alauzon of Cecil Township told Canonsburg police Saturday a Canon-McMillan High School championship soccer ring was stolen while he was visiting at a home at 514 Valley View Terrace.

Cement mixer stolen: A yellow-and-blue cement mixer owned by DB Masonry was stolen from a construction site at 1052 Breezewood Drive, township police said. The trailer-type mixer was last seen at 2:30 p.m. Friday and was reported missing Monday. Owner David Barkman told police the mixer is valued at $2,000.

Tools stolen: State police said tools were stolen from a drill pad at A&R Pipeline, Morris, Friday or Saturday. Three vehicles also were damaged. The equipment is owned by K&R Services of Waynesburg.

Man charged: Matthew C. Neelen, 34, of 272 Franklin Terrace, North Franklin, was charged by North Franklin police with trespass by motor vehicle and disorderly conduct after police said he was caught Friday night riding on property owned by the Ramada Inn on West Chestnut Street. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Marijuana charge: State police filed a charge of prohibited acts against Matthew D. Kennison, 22, of 10 Holly Ridge Road, North Franklin, after troopers said they found marijuana in his car during a traffic stop on Park Avenue, according to court records filed at District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.

Car damaged: A woman from the 2400 block of Brookledge Road told police the entire passenger side of her vehicle was keyed overnight in the parking lot of her building. The incident occurred April 30 or May 1, police said.

DUI charge: William Backner, 39, of 195 Chambers Lane, Washington, will be charged by South Strabane police with DUIl stemming from a two-vehicle crash on Route 19 at Trinity Point. Police said his blood-alcohol content was more than four times the 0.08 percent limit presumed for intoxication.

Bullet fired: A bullet fired about 5 p.m. Friday hit the front porch railing of the home of Robert Held, of 138 Tuscany Estates Drive, and the side of the Zachary Neil residence, of 136 Tuscany Estates. Anyone with information is asked to call Southwest Regional police at 724-929-8484.

Theft charge: Christopher Pitzarella, 23, of 43 W. Hallam Ave., who already is facing charges for an armed robbery in March, is being accused by Washington police of stealing a woman’s bank card March 8 and buying $236 worth of merchandise at four stores around the city. Police charged Pitzarella with forgery and access device fraud in the bank card theft case, which is unrelated to the armed robbery at the Uni-Mart on March 27.

Man charged: Washington police said they charged John A. Bobur, 53, of 118 Maple Terrace, with disorderly conduct after officers found him unconscious on Maple Avenue about 8 p.m. Friday. Police said he kicked an officer when they tried to help him to his feet.

Tools stolen: Tools and work equipment were stolen from a storage garage in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue Friday morning.

Disorderly conduct charge: Edward Miller of Munhall was charged with disorderly conduct after Washington police said he had to be escorted from Julian’s Banquet Hall at 78 W. Maiden St. Saturday night. Police said they had to wrestle Miller to the ground to subdue him after he was told he would be charged.

Drug charges: Washington police said they charged two people with disorderly conduct after officers found marijuana plants while responding to an argument at 124 Bruce St. Saturday. Police said they were able to resolve the argument between two other people but charged Brandon Durbin, 20, of 464 Broad Ave., and Stephen Murphy II, 21, of 124 Broad Ave., with disorderly conduct after finding two plants in the house.

Camera stolen: A camera and case worth $590 were stolen from a woman’s car Saturday afternoon while it was parked at the Goodwill at 89 Jefferson Ave., Washington police said.

Drug charges: Washington police said they plan to file drug charges against Warren Sadler, 49, and Sara Cherpak, 34, after officers found drugs and paraphernalia at their 339 Locust Ave. apartment Saturday.

Theft charge: Malachi Simmons, 41, of 105 Church St., Washington, will be charged with theft after city police said he stole an envelope containing $230 in cash from an acquaintance’s car Saturday.

Cellphone stolen: Dennis Tate Jr., 20, of 705 Broad St., was charged with robbery after Washington police said he stole a cell phone from a man and threw it into a stream near Wade Avenue Oct. 24.

Car vandalized: A car parked at North Franklin and Church streets was vandalized early Sunday morning, Washington police said.

Intruder confronted: State police said Jarred Stepp of California confronted an intruder about 7 p.m. Sunday inside his grandmother’s home at 266 Jefferson Ave., West Bethlehem. Police said Stepp tackled the intruder. When the other man got up, he swung a buck knife, nicking Stepp in the arm. The intruder is described as white, in his 30s, with bushy blond hair, 6 feet tall, thin, with facial hair. He wore blue jeans and a T-shirt.
