Daylight restrictions planned on Speers Bridge

1 min read

State Department of Transportation crews will be doing an in-depth inspection of the Belle Vernon-Speers Bridge that carries Interstate 70 across the Monongahela River between Washington and Westmoreland counties.

Weather permitting, there will be single-lane restrictions on the bridge starting Monday for approximately two weeks. The daylight restrictions will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

This inspection is for planning purposes for a future bridge preservation project.
