Older man in camouflage robs Western Pa. bank

1 min read

STOYSTOWN (AP) – State police have been looking for an older man who robbed a Western Pennsylvania bank while dressed head to toe in camouflage clothing.

Troopers from the Somerset barracks said the man didn’t threaten violence when he walked into the First National Bank branch in Stoystown about five minutes after it opened Monday morning. He simply handed a teller a note demanding money and left after she handed him a bank bag filled with cash.

Police said the robber was a slim white man about 50 to 60 years old with some facial hair.

Stoystown is in Somerset County, about 45 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
