Canonsburg house raided

Canonsburg police and the Washington Regional SWAT team raided a house at 29 W. College St. about 6 a.m. today.

Police Chief R.T. Bell said cocaine and weapons were confiscated.

Police arrested Joshua K. Thomas, 34, who lives at the residence on charges of possession and delivery of cocaine and firearms violations. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County Jail on $250,000 bond.

Assisting were state police and members of the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force.

Bell said more details will be released later, as the investigation is ongoing.
