Former WEWJA manager appeals lawsuit

1 min read

The former manager of the Washington-East Washington Joint Authority has appealed a lawsuit to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Ray Dami, of McMurray, former WEWJA manager, filed the lawsuit against Lane Turturice, solicitor for WEWJA, Terry Faust, and Jeff Bull. Faust, a Washington councilman, is the city’s representative on the authority while Bull, a borough councilman, represents East Washington.

The authority severed its relationship with Dami and his company, RAD Management LLC, in March 2011. Dami’s initial suit for breach of contract was dismissed.

Although the full authority board made the decision to terminate Dami, his latest lawsuit has singled out the three men individually.

Turturice termed the suit “frivolous.”
