Restaurant operators cited: The operators of Rye’s Bar and Restaurant, 248 Old National Pike, California, were cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforement for failing to maintain complete and truthful records for the operation of the business from February 2011 to February 2013.
Disorderly charge: Benjamin Jenkins, 23, of McKeees Rocks, was charged by California police with disorderly conduct afer he was walking on Third Street May 11 waving an airsoft gun. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Trimmer, bags stolen: A weed trimmer and roll of garbage bags were reported stolen Friday from a storage room at Snowy White Laundry, West Pike Street, Canonsburg police said.
Vehicles, homes egged: Canonsburg police are investigating several reports Sunday of eggs being thrown at homes and vehicles near a borough playground on Franklin Avenue.
Two charged: Brian K. Durbin, 40, and Alan W.Ingram, 24, both of Washington, each were charged by state police with disorderly conduct Sunday stemming from a fight at 849 Henderson Ave., Canton.
Bar operators cited: The operators of Carolyn’s, 1411 Meldon Ave., Donora, will be cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for not being the only individual with pecuniary interest in the operation of the business from Aug. 3 through Nov. 1, 2012.
Woman charged: Carrie Ann Kondratiuk, 39, of 11 Washington Ave., Fredericktown, was arrested early Sunday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment. She is accused of assaulting her husband while the two were on their way back to their East Bethlehem home after an evening out. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released.
Arrested at concert: Tami Kathryn Shimko, 25, of Beaver, was arrested Saturday night during the Tim McGraw concert at First Niagara Pavilion. She is accused of punching another woman in the nose, breaking it, during a confrontation in a walkway in a section of the lawn area. Shimko was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller on a charge of simple assault and released on her own recognizance.
Restaurant operators cited: The operators of The Farm Restaurant at 977 Steubenville Pike in Hanover Township were charged by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcohol to a visibly intoxicated customer. Police said the restaurant workers sold one alcoholic beverage to the customer March 24.
Two arrested: Jeremy Lee Carr, 29, and Pamela J. Brooks, 38, both of 123 Main St., New Eagle, were charged by Monongahela police with simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia after a domestic dispute at their home early Monday. Both were arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and each placed in the Washington County jail on $3,000 bond.
False report charge: Cody Helmick, 23, of 3136 W. Chestnut St., North Franklin, was charged with making false reports to law enforcement after township police said he told them his ex-girlfriend and her friends were yelling at him in a passing car about 9:30 p.m. Friday. Police said Helmick admitted to making up the story in an attempt to get his ex-girlfriend in trouble.
Trespass charge: Hai Phuoc Hoang, 34, of Pittsburgh, was charged by state police with criminal trespasss after he was found Sunday at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, North Strabane. He is on the banned guest list. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft charge: Andrew John Bilohavek, 26, of Bethel Park, was charged by state police with theft after he allegedly stole a $63 voucher left in a slot machine Friday by another patron at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, North Strabane. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
One injured: Bruce Brinkman, 63, of Park Boulevard, Pittsburgh, refused treatment following a two-vehicle accident at 1:34 p.m. Friday, but later was taken to the Veteran’s Administration hospital in Pittsburgh, township police said. A car driven by Joan A. Merz, 68, of Druid Drive, McMurray, was traveling east in the 600 block of East McMurray Road, when she hit the rear of Brinkman’s stopped car. Merz was not injured.
Two-vehicle accident: Rocco Grippo, 77, of Druid Drive, McMurray, was trapped in his car following an accident at 12:54 p.m. Friday on East McMurray Road at Heritage Meadows Drive, township police said. He was not injured. Police said a car driven by Carole Beltz, 64, of Thomas Road, McMurray, was stopped for a left turn on East McMurray Road to Heritage Meadows Drive, when police said Grippo struck it in the rear. Beltz was not injured. Emergency personnel responded to remove Grippo from his car, police said.
Two face charges: Christopher McCune, 43, and Joshua Lee Smith, 38, both of 100 Garden St., Canonsburg, will be charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing items from Walmart, Trinity Point, South Strabane police said. McCune is accused of taking a laptop computer and Smith allegedly stole a cellphone cover. Charges will be sent by summons from the office District Judge Jay Weller.
Retail theft charge: Arthur Kevin Garbart, 52, of 74 Leet St., Washington, will be charged by South Strabane police with retail theft for allegedly stealing a flag and two shirts from Walmart, Trinity Point, Friday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Shot fired at building: Washington police are investigating the report of a gunshot fired at a garage over the weekend. Police said a man working inside his garage in the 200 block of North Franklin Avenue heard what sounded like a rock hitting the building shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday and confronted three men and one woman standing outside. The four denied throwing a rock, but one person said he fired his gun before pointing it at the man. The four people ran from the scene before officers arrived. Police said they could not locate a bullet hole in the garage nor any shell casings in the area.
Drug charges: Steven Adrian Sadler, 24, no address listed, was arrested Sunday on a warrant obtained by state police on drug charges. He is accused of selling crack to a confidential informant Oct. 3, 2011, while the two were in an apartment complex parking lot off West Chestnut Street. Sadler was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver crack. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
Marijuana charge: Washington police said they charged John D. Donley, 22, of 510 Allison Ave., with two counts of prohibited acts after officers found five marijuana plants and prescription pills inside the residence March 26.
Items stolen from car: A Coach purse, $400, concert tickets, a car television and two sets of gold earrings were stolen from a car while it was parked in the 400 block of Ewing Street early Saturday morning, Washington police said.
Crash leads to charges: Bobby Jo Yerkey, 29, of Langeloth, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and careless driving after Washington police said they found a heroin bundle in her purse following a crash May 10.
Harassment charge: Douglas Clay, 39, of 590 E. Chestnut St., Washington, was charged with harassment after city police said he threatened his ex-girlfriend on the phone and at her North Franklin Avenue residence Friday night.
Disorderly conduct charge: Scott Ivery, 49, of 611 Penn Ave., Washington, was charged with disorderly conduct after city police said he threw a firecracker at his neighbor’s dog about 2 p.m. Sunday.
Drug charges: Kimberly Kloster, 51, of 118 Jeanne St., Canton, faces drug charges after Washington police said they found a crack pipe and other paraphernalia in her car during a traffic stop in the 900 block of Jefferson Avenue about 1:15 a.m. Monday.
