Area attorney sworn in to county bar

WAYNESBURG – Greene County native Christopher M. Simms was sworn in to the Greene County Bar May 20 and will join the law firm of Timothy Logan.
Simms, who was sworn in by Judge Farley Toothman, will engage in the general practice of law and will represent clients in matters regarding domestic relations, civil litigation, landlord/tenant, personal injury, unemployment compensation, real estate, wills and estates, juvenile and DUI/criminal matters.
Simms graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 2008 and received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 2012. He graduated from West Greene High School in 2004 and grew up in Holbrook. He is the son of Michael and Theresa Simms of Waynesburg and he currently lives in Waynesburg.
In his spare time, Simms enjoys weight lifting and other athletic activities. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoys spending time with his family.
