Woman jailed: A Fredericktown woman was jailed after she allegedly stabbed her sister twice in the arm during a fight Thursday at a house in Crucible, Cumberland Township police said. Sarah C. Treece, 35, was arraigned before District Judge Lee Watson on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. She was placed in the Greene County jail on $50,000 bond and faces a preliminary hearing Thursday. Treece is accused of stabbing her sister, Dora Black, about 4:10 p.m. at a house at 434 East Fifth Ave. in Crucible. Police said Black had two small wounds on her forearm. According to the criminal complaint, witnesses said the two women had been arguing and started to fight. At one point, Treece grabbed a knife from the counter and stabbed Black twice in the forearm.

Burglary: A house on Sugar Run Road was broken into between 2:30 and 6:20 p.m. Tuesday and $20 was removed from a container inside, state police said. The house is occupied by Michael Paul Deutsch of Waynesburg.
