Senior named girl of the month
CARMICHAELS – Rachael Hathaway, a graduating senior at Carmichaels Area High School, has been named Girl of the Month for May by the Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club.
Hathaway, daughter of Jeff and Holly Hathaway, Jefferson, plans to attend Waynesburg University and major in early childhood education and special education.
Her school activities at Carmichaels included membership in the National Honor Society, yearbook staff, Big Brothers Big Sisters, SADD and varsity softball and volleyball.
Outside of school, she is a member of Greene Valley Church of God.
