Crash: Brittany Miller, 23, of Brave, was traveling south on state Route 218 Saturday when she swerved to miss a deer, lost control of her vehicle and hit an embankment, state police in Waynesburg said. Miller was not injured.

Collision: According to state police in Waynesburg, Kenneth Wise, 39, of New Salem, was in the northbound lane of Brown’s Creek Road Friday when he hit a tree that had fallen on the road. After striking the tree, Wise’s car went into the southbound lane, where it was struck by a vehicle being driven by Terry Bolyard, 41, of Morgantown, W.Va. Neither Wise nor Bolyard was injured.
