WAYNESBURG – A fire believed to have been started by a malfunctioning wood burner destroyed a garage Sunday night at 605 N. Richhill St. in Waynesburg.

The Waynesburg-Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Co. was called at about 10:50 p.m. to extinguish blaze at a garage at the home of Mike Kabay, fire Chief Jeffrey Marshall said. No one was injured.
