GREENSBURG (AP) – Authorities have released the name of a woman found shot to death along with a man outside a western Pennsylvania apartment complex. A suspect was later found dead of a self-inflicted wound.

State police said gunfire was reported shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Hempfield Heights complex in Westmoreland County, about 25 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Troopers arrived to find two people dead in the parking lot. They evacuated the complex and began a search, eventually finding the suspect dead in one of the apartments.

Warden John Walton of the Westmoreland County Prison said the female victim was 23-year-old Christina White, a part-time corrections officer hired in August.

State police said the names of the two men killed would be released Thursday, when autopsies are also slated.
