Police beat Nov. 9
Two injured: Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on Route 21, state police said. Police said a car driven by Justin E. Leadbeater, 25, of Ronco, traveling at high speed, struck the rear of a vehicle stopped for traffic operated by Donna Moats, 54, of Wind Ridge. Moats’ vehicle was forced into the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of it operated by Jeffrey Wiseman, 36, of Morgantown, W.Va. Moats suffered a back injury and was taken to Mon General Hospital in Morgantown; Leadbeater, who suffered a minor hand injury, was cited for speeding, police said.
Disorderly: A 16-year-old girl was arrested for disorderly conduct after she was found walking down the center of Route 21 in West Waynesburg at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.
Property found: An undisclosed amount of cash was found in the Mather area at 1:20 p.m. Nov. 1, state police said. Anyone with information on the owner is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.
No injury: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 7:35 p.m. Monday on Interstate 79, state police said. Police said a vehicle driven by Tabatha Shannon, 25, of Morgantown, W.Va. was pulling off the highway after striking a deer when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle traveling behind it operated by Arthur J. Serenta, 27, of Carmichaels. Police said Serenta was cited for driving with a suspended license.
