Buffalo man charged in assault
A Buffalo Township man was arraigned Tuesday on charges including indecent assault for allegedly having inappropriate contact with an 8-year-old girl two years ago.
Matthew E. Toland, 38, of 48 Kinder Drive, was charged by state police with having the improper contact with the girl in 2011.
Toland was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children. He was released after posting $5,000 of a $50,000 percentage bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday before Ward.
