Xi Lambda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson Community Center. Hostesses will be Vickie Funk and Connie Loughman. A program will follow the meeting.
Prime time fellowship and a covered-dish dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the fellowship hall of First Church of the Nazarene. Bring a side dish to share with at least eight to 10 people. Following dinner, Free Spirit, a gospel group from Uniontown, will perform.
The Greene County Library System Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Bowlby Public Library.
The Salvation Army’s Produce to People program will be Nov. 21 and Dec. 19 at Greene County Fairgrounds.
The Carmichaels Area Chamber of Commerce will hold annual Christmas Light Up Night at 5 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Town Square. Santa Claus will arrive on the fire truck escorted by the Carmichaels Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Department. Master of Ceremonies and DJ will be Dave Plavi. The Carmichaels Elementary Musical Mikes will perform and Santa will greet all children up to age 12 with a treat bag.
Clarksville Borough will hold its second annual Light Up Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 in the center of town. The Jefferson-Morgan chorus will perform Christmas carols and the borough’s new Christmas lights will be lit. Food and refreshments will be offered at the fire hall.
