1 min read

A one-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 East near the Kammerer exit caused both lanes of traffic to shut down Wednesday about 5 p.m., creating a traffic jam that backed up for miles.

One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, according to a Washington County 911 supervisor. The scene was cleared, and traffic started to flow again around 6:30 p.m.
