Numerous people appeared recently in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Edward Borkowski were:

Keith A. Andrews, 45, of 3993 Millers Run Road, McDonald; possession of a small amount of marijuana, retail theft; charged March 10; sentence – 30 days of probation, no contact with Giant Eagle, $250 fine.

Nicholas Gill, 19, of 480 Bradford Lane, Aurora, Ohio; possession of a controlled substance; charged Aug. 27; sentence – 12 months of probation, no contact with Washington & Jefferson College.

Anthony McGinnis, 21, of 109 W. Walnut, Apt. 1, Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged Aug. 10; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Kristen R. Minda, 23, of 228 Rockdale Road, Follansbee, W.Va.; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 22 and Aug. 11, 2012; sentence – 23 months of probation.

Crystal M. Durst, 30, of 54 Cemetery Road, Brownsville; possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 11; placed in the Probation Without Verdict Program for 6 months.

Christopher D. Carruthers, 20, of 135 E. Wylie Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged July 18; sentence – 18 months of probation, $1,244 restitution, no contact with victim.

Shane Newman, 20, of 345 Moon Road, Washington; theft; charged July 10; sentence – 12 months of probation, $450 restitution.

Hunter D. McMahon, 18, of 135 Henderson Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged July 18; sentence – 18 months of probation, $1,244 restitution, no contact with victim.

Tyler Ankrom, 20, of 50 Campbell Ave., Washington; terroristic threats; charged Sept. 12; sentence – 23 months of probation, no contact with victim.

Amanda L. Kempf, 28, of Bulger and Washington; third offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, retail theft; charged May 24 and Aug. 28, 2010; sentence – 12 to 24 months on home monitoring, $2,500 fine.

Jennifer Nelson, 43, of 83 Pigeon Creek Road, Eighty Four; theft by deception, theft of leased property, theft; charged March 19, July 31 and Aug. 8; sentence – 23 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program, 23 months of probation, $2,434 restitution.

One person was admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offennders. If he successfully completes the program, he can petition the court to have his record expunged.

Paul A. Hennon, 56, of 191 Cooper Road, Charleroi, was admitted for 12 months for unauthorized school bus entry, charged Feb. 26.

Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery were:

Anthony Byers, 26, of 480 Addison Ave., Washington; possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, receiving stolen property; charged Aug. 15; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail with work release, return property or $1 restitution.

James R. Faris, 20, of 150 Hart Ave., Washington; criminal attempt, possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; charged June 29, 2012 and July 18; sentence – 23 months in the restrictive intermediate punishment program with 90 days on home monitoring, 36 months of probation.

Jesse T. Russell, 23, of 235 W. Chestnut St., Apt. 307, Washington; second offense of DUI; charged June 13; sentence – 6 to 18 months on home monitoring with the first 90 days on SCRAM monitoring, $2,000 fine, 30-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.

Teona N. McClain, 24, of 314 Buckles Ave., Houston; two counts of possession of a controlled substance; charged March 7 and 22, 2012; sentence – 23 months of probation.

Marlene E. Michaux, no age available, of 1001 Hunters Ridge, Brownsville; three counts of bad checks; charged Jan. 24, 2008; sentence – 12 months of probation, $575 restitution.

Kenneth M. Kapcala, no age available, of Pittsburgh; DUI; charged Dec. 2, 2010; sentence – 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine.

Stacey A. Whiteman, 45, of 545 Alamae Lakes Road, Washington; possession with intent to deliver; charged March 25; sentence – 36 months of probation.

Gary Nau, 40, of 931 Hilltop St., Munhall; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged July 30, 2012; sentence – 12 months of probation.

David H. Trowbridge, 63, of 103 W. Lincoln Ave., Apt. 6, McDonald; two counts of disorderly conduct, harassment; charged Feb. 16; sentence – 90 days probation, 50 hours of community service.

Arthur K. Garbart, 52, of 74 Leet St., Washington; retail theft; charged May 17; sentence – 23 months of probation.

Crystal L. Large, 34, of P.O. Box 172, Van Voorhis; access device fraud; charged Nov. 12, 2012; sentence – 23 months of probation, $395 restitution.

Wendy A. Pellick, 48, of 221 S. California Drive, Coal Center; possession of a controlled substance, retail theft; charged July 26; sentence – 12 months of probation, $300 fine.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Carol A. McNabb, 55, of 504 Greenwood Drive Extension, Cranberry; defiant trespass; charged Feb. 11; sentence – $200 fine, banned from The Meadows Racetrack & Casino.

Carissa M. Vuono, 21, of 15 Middle St., Fredericktown; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged April 4; sentence – 6 months of probation.

Denise Bailey, 48, of 266 Redrow Road, Smithton; hindering apprehension, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 19; sentence – 12 months of probation.

James M. Large, 20, of 1319 Corrin Ave., Monongahela; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 30; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Michael A. Carroll, 37, of 39 Hall Ave., Washington; second offense of DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged July 20; sentence – 5 days to 6 months in jail, $1,300 fine, 12-month ignition interlock.

Michael J. Cridge, 23, of 344 E. Barr St., McDonald; simple possession of a controlled substance; charged June 30, 2012; sentence – 12 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 3 months on home monitoring.

Christopher M. Gooden, 44, of 2107 Shawnee Drive, Washington; second offense of DUI; charged May 5; sentence – 6 to 18 months on home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.

Donald L. Snow Jr., 42, of 111 Holly Drive, McMurray; possession of a controlled substance; charged April 18; sentence – 3 to 6 months in jail.

Lamont D. Byrd, 55, of 1133 McMahon Drive, Monessen; harassment; charged July 22; sentence – 90 days in jail.
