Burglary: The residence of David C. Hornicsar on Toms Run Road was broken into between 5 p.m. Nov. 16 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday and various items were stolen, state police said.

Man arrested: Shawn Allen Hall, 45, of Uniontown, was arrested Monday by state police in Uniontown and charged with using a stolen credit card from the Fayette County recycling program to purchase $31,173 in fuel from Pacific Pride stations in Greene and Fayette counties between April 2012 and May 2013. Hall is accused of using the card to purchase 9,249 gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel from the stations, including the Pacific Pride station on High Street in Waynesburg. Hall, who was identified through a video at one of the stations, was placed in the Fayette County jail on $50,000 bond and faces a preliminary hearing Dec. 3.
