MONTROSE (AP) – State police said a small plane made an emergency landing on a northern Pennsylvania highway, but the pilot wasn’t seriously injured.

Police in Susquehanna County said the Cessna 210 experienced engine failure at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday in Bridgewater Township.

Police said the plane landed on Route 706, which was shut down in both directions.

A police statement said the pilot, who was heading to Buffalo, N.Y. from New Jersey, was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that weren’t considered serious.
