SW Pa. bank robber, lookout sought by state police

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. (AP) — State police are trying to find a man who robbed a southwestern Pennsylvania bank and another man who was seen standing outside who may have been acting as a lookout.

Police say the man who robbed the S&T Bank in Youngwood Wednesday afternoon is black, about 6-foot tall and was wearing a red wrap around his head, along with a brown hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, blue jeans and boots.

The suspect standing outside is white and was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police say the robber asked a teller for change before jumping over the counter with a gun and demanding money. The men fled from the bank together.

The bank was robbed just after 12:30 p.m.

Youngwood is about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh.
