Wheeling Jesuit installs new president
WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) — The Rev. James J. Fleming has been installed at Wheeling Jesuit’s 10th president.
Fleming replaces Richard Beyer, who decided not to seek a second term. Fleming took over the job on July 1 and was officially installed on Saturday.
During the induction Mass, The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register reports Fleming said the church and the university will thrive by committing to a renewed focus on helping those in need.
