Canon-Mac board to vote on teachers’ contract
Canon-McMillan School Board expects to vote on a new contract for teachers and service employees Monday.
Superintendent Michael Daniels said school officials “highly anticipate” that the board will vote on contracts with the Canon-McMillan Education Association and the Service Employees’ International Union.
SEIU is expected to vote on ratifying a tentative agreement today. The teachers’ contract expired Aug. 15 but they have continued to work under its terms.
